The biggest date on the world's furniture calendar, the annual Salone Internazionale del Mobile is a week packed with events, exhibitions and presentations.
For one week, everyone who's any one on the international furniture design and manufacturing scene comes together in Milan.
The Milan Fair is vast, it stretches across 207,000m2. There are many different areas, so we recommend you narrow down your focus onto a few key areas:
1. Salone del Mobile

2. Euroluce
With 38,000 square metres of exhibition space and 450 of the best exhibitors in the sector, half of which foreign, the International Lighting Exhibition – at its 29th edition – is recognised as the global benchmark lighting exhibition, where technological innovation and design culture take centre stage.
3. SaloneSatellite
A separate launch-pad exhibition by young architects and designers aged under 35 , this year's theme focuses on New Materials, New Design.

Getting to Milan Fairgrounds
Milan Fairgrounds are located at the exhibition centre, just out of the Milan urban area. The easiest way to get there is by public transport.
Public Transport
Take the M1 Red Underground line to Rho-Fiera station (last stop). Interchange stations: Cadorna-Triennale and Loreto (M2 Green Line); Duomo (M3 Yellow line)
Fiera Milano Tickets
In order to reach Rho Fiera station on the M1 Red underground line you can't use the urban tickets. Fiera Milano exhibition center is outside the Milan urban area, so you must use one of the special tickets listed below.
Standard ticket Milano - Rho Fiera: Euro 2.50. Valid for one journey from Milan to Rho-fieramilano station or viceversa, lasting a maximum of 105 minutes. Valid for a single trip on the metro.
Return ticket Rho-Fiera: Euro 5.00
Valid for 2 journeys: from Milan to Rho-fieramilano station and viceversa, lasting a maximum of 105 minutes each. For every journey, you can use the metro only once.
One Day Ticket: Euro 7.00
One-day ticket valid for unlimited travel on the underground Line 1 from Milan to Rho-fieramilano station and viceversa.
All tickets are valid also in the Milan municipality area, including the urban rail lines of Trenord and the Passante ferroviario (Urban Railway Network).

Taxis
Taxis authorised to operate at Linate and Malpensa airports, on given routes, among which Milan Fairgrounds in Rho, apply fixed, all-inclusive fares (travel time, motorway tolls, nighttime and holiday/weekend surcharge).
Please note that requests for intermediate stops make the application of fixed rates invalid.
